Meeting:
Meetings are as called by the Chair. Meetings are held at the Washtenaw County Emergency Operations Center.

Authority:
PA 122. Board created by resolution 95-0214. Resolution 00-0152 added a firefighter position in accordance with Act 122, as amended.

Compensation:
Board of Commissioners received compensation in accordance with Board of Commissioenrs Rules & Regulations.

Membership:
95-0214 established the Board with membership comprised of the Sheriff of the County, as representative of the Michigan State Police, elected officers and/or Chief Administrative Officers in the followind distribution: three townships representatives, appointed by the Township Association; 1 representative from each of Manchester, Dexter, Chelsea Village, 1 each of cities: Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Saline, Milan, Washtenaw County representatives appointed by the Board of Commissioners (Chair and two commissioners), the Director of Emergency Mnagement and the County Administrator. Board of Commissioner represetatives will be appointed annually.
