Meeting: <a href="http://www.ewashtenaw.org/government/boc/LECRBMinutes" target="_blank">LECRB Minutes</a><p> 1. Business meetings of the Citizens Review Board shall be held at a minimum of 4 times per calendar year, once every quarter of a calendar year. The Committee can hold additional meetings as needed. An annual meeting calendar shall be adopted by the Citizens Review Board at its initial meeting in January 2007 for the remainder of 2007 and then at the December meeting or last calendar meeting of the year for the following year. The time and place of the meetings shall be posted with the County Clerk in accordance with the Open Meetings Act. The annual calendar may be amended at any regular meeting by a majority vote of the members appointed and serving. Members receive compensation for attending meetings as detailed in the following section labeled "Compensation."<p> 2. Members shall attend regular business meetings. If a member has missed two consecutive meetings, the Vice-chair shall notify the Chair, who shall notify the Board of Commissioners, who shall have the discretion to remove that member from his/her appointed position on the Citizens Review Board.<p> 3. Special meetings of the Citizen Review Board may be called by the Chair, purusant to the Open Meetings Act, upon at least 18 hours public notice. The Chair shall provide notice of such a special meeting to each Citizen Review Board member by telephone or electronic mail. The business transacted at the Special Meeting shall be limited to the items announced in the notice. Notice to the public shall be given of all special meetings by posting through the County Clerk. Members are expected to make every attempt to attend a special meeting.<p> 4. A quorum of the Citizen Review Board shall consist of a majority (5) of the members appointed and serving. A quorum shall be required in order to conduct business at any meeting. If a quorum is not present, members of the Citizen Review Board may hear reports and exchange information but shall not take action.<p>

Compensation:Citizen Review Board Members shall receive $25 per diem and round-trip mileage for each business meeting, including special meetings. Attendance is per the roll call certified by the Chair.
Membership:Membership and terms of members are defined in Resolution 06-0280 as follows: The CRB shall consist of Nine (9) citizen representatives whose initial term shall be staggered as follows: - Three members shall serve 1 year terms expiring on December 30, 2007 - Three members shall serve 2 year terms expiring on December 31, 2008 - Three members shall serve 3 year terms expiring on December 31, 2009 Subsequent appointments to the CRB shall be for (3) three-year terms. 2. All members are appointed by the Chair of the Board of Commissioners and confirmed by vote of the BOC. Upon resignation of a member, the Chair and the CRB shall notify the Board of Commissioners, who will appoint a member to fill the remainder of the unexpired term.
