JOB SUMMARY
|
|
Under the supervision of a higher classified employee, the vaccinator will provide immunizations within the Washtenaw County community utilizing the framework of the Human Services Department and Health Department.
|

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

Essential Duties:
|

Provides COVID-19 vaccinations to Washtenaw County community members and others as identified as priority groups.
|
-
Assesses immunization status, determines needs and administers immunizations in accordance with human service and public health division policy.
|
-
Provides consultation and direct services to defined at-risk populations.
|
-
Maintains up-to-date case records and reports documenting service delivery.
|
-
Performs other work as assigned.
|
|

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS
|
|
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
|

Duties require sufficient mobility to work in non-traditional clinic environment. Most have own vehicle to travel to vaccination clinic locations.
|
|
These requirements may be accommodated for otherwise qualified individuals requiring and requesting such accommodation.

|
EDUCATION
|
-
Possession of the appropriate degree for RN, BSN, PA, NP, Pharmacist, MD, or DO.
|
|
EXPERIENCE
|
-
Experience in giving immunizations to both adults and children.
|
|
LICENSE/CERTIFICIATION
|
-
EMT, RN, BSN, PA, NP, Pharmacist, MD or DO licensed to practice in Michigan
|
-
Possession of a valid Michigan vehicle operator's license.
|
|
